Kodo Academy opens its first classes for new programmers in three technologies ReactJS, Node.js and Python. Those selected for the first pilot of the academy will have the opportunity during these three months to develop their knowledge in technologies which have been identified as the ones in high demand in the market.

Thanks to the support of EuforInnovation and the Challenge Fund these modules became available for free to the first participants of the academy. In continuation, the Academy will diversify its modules to best suit the market demand and opportunities of programmers of different levels of training.

According to the coordinator Emerina Hidri, the added value of KODO lies in the methodology of the devised curriculum which makes it possible to deepen knowledge in relevant technologies by intertwining with concrete projects between teams.

"KODO will try to minimize the gap between new programmers and industry demands, giving young programmers the opportunity for ongoing training in line with market demands," say KODO co-founders Engjëll Rraklli and Lorena Gjana.

The first group of selected consist mainly of computer science graduates who want to deepen their knowledge and by the end of the three modules three of them will have the opportunity to do an internship at division5.

KODO is conceived as a space where the community of programmers can grow, strengthen and collaborate to further develop the innovation ecosystem in Albania.
