UNICEF Albania has supported technically and financially the MOESY for creating a digital learning platform Akademi.al aligned with the official curricula, easily accessible, available for free for all students 3-18, in order to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic crises in education.

3,000 video lessons adjusted for students with disabilities
Children with no access to the internet for the first time could download lessons for offline use via the mobile app
This initiative constitutes a sustainable source of quality learning for all children in the future. Through developing accessibility features of the digital content of the platform children with disabilities could benefit as well. The initiative also aims to support the process of national examination preparation for all adolescents 15-18 years old through digital content and video lessons preparations but also serve as a source of excellence of education teaching for all low quality settings such as multigrade schools, remote schools, children who for different reasons have been out of schools and need to catch up.
