Andreas Wil Gerdes is a pioneer of the digital nomad movement and a visionary in telecommunications. He sold his first company at 20, a startup that became part of Orange PLC, and was one of only 7 winners of the European award “Elite of the Future”. Featured in the Financial Times’ “101 Leaders of the New Economy”, Andreas has mentored and inspired hundreds of entrepreneurs around the globe. Yet, his favorite title remains #father — advocating for a “life-centric” philosophy that empowers parents to live and work with greater presence and purpose alongside their children.
Andreas recognized Malta’s potential for digital innovation decades ago and helped shape it into a hub for nomads and remote professionals. In Tirana, he’ll share insights on how digital nomadism and human-centered innovation can boost F2 – Financially Independent and Free-Thinking Youth in Albania.
Lumjana Shehu, a marketing strategist and entrepreneur, represents the next wave of Albanian changemakers. Having grown up as an Albanian refugee across Greece, Canada, and the U.S., she understands how digital skills can transform lives. Now based in Albania, she leads Luminade, a fully remote marketing agency working with NGOs, startups, and thought leaders such as AADF, KUADR Events, and Lona Alia. Through her MaNaBu Movement Youth VA Program, she equips young people with remote work skills, mentorship, and global job opportunities, empowering them to become self-reliant and future-ready.
Together, Andreas and Lumjana will explore how innovation, nomadism, and entrepreneurship can merge to build a new generation of Albanian youth, free, connected, and globally competitive.
