Digital Day Albania brought together various companies and ICT students to find solutions to real companies' problems and to offer internship or employment opportunities, moderated by Nikos Katsiantonis.
After a great organization and work, what were the main results that this event brought? Where did it have the greatest impact?
The main purpose of this event was to provide opportunities for students who are graduating in one of the branches of IT, but also for those who are looking for a job in this industry. Throughout the day, together with the participants, specialists from each company present at the event, were engaged. They were led and worked together with the participants in coming up with a solution for each of the challenges of the companies. So we can say, the event had the biggest impact on the participants, but also on the companies, as each received some notes that were valuable for their improvement.
In conversations with guests or participants, what are their impressions? Are the companies left satisfied with the recruits?
The impressions were very positive, the only "bad" thing was the fact that it lasted very little. A pretty good and synchronous job between the organizing girls, which did not make it seem any difficulty encountered in the eyes of the participants. The fact that each of the participants on our polls would come again to our next events, for us is a very important indicator. Normally from our side as organizers were made quite clear the expectations regarding the level that the participants would have. From the feedback we have received from the present companies, the event seemed well organized, and some of the selected participants have continued their journey in their respective companies.
Do you think that you have achieved the objectives set before the event?
Being objective, I say that we have achieved the goal and we have the expected results. Good has no end, so we got some improvement points for the next event.
What is the next step? Will we have more events of this kind and if so what do you plan to do better?
The founder's plans include expanding Tech Creed's permanent staff circle. Our loyal collaborators will be an essential part of it. The work will continue in the creation and expansion of our student community in the field of IT, but not only that, and consequently the events will not have an end. Tech Creed has started the patenting steps of Digital Day Albania, so to ensure that Digital Day will have its continuity. Taking into account the impressions of companies can come in a longer time format. Tech Creed, following in the footsteps of Digital Day, will come in 2022 with many surprises and events that have never been done in Albania. We are waiting for you!
