Erion Yzeiri on Think Big: “Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone, but if you feel it, seize the moment”

The second episode of Season 3 of Think Big didn’t just explore the lighting industry—it showed how a spontaneous idea, an inner desire, and the sincere courage to step off the beaten path can build a success story that shines brighter than any spotlight.

Erion Yzeiri, founder of Vitalux, is the perfect example of someone who wasn’t held back by the fear of “not knowing the field.” Instead, he turned that lack of knowledge into a starting point to learn, build, and create a business that is now one of the leaders in Albania’s lighting market.

“Honestly, when I started Vitalux, I thought I knew this industry—but I didn’t. I had worked in leadership positions before, but I felt the need to put my skills to the test in something that was entirely mine. I wanted to build a vision—not just follow a path already set by others,” says Erion.

This episode was filmed at one of the most unique projects the company has undertaken: a stunning villa in San Pietro, where every lighting element and concept detail was designed to reflect the calm brought by the sea just outside.

“For me, this villa is more than just a project. We wanted to bring the tranquility of the sea inside the home—lighting isn’t just technical, it’s emotional. It creates feelings. And here, we wanted to offer something simple, minimalist, yet incredibly relaxing.”

Founded in 2016, Vitalux is now the official distributor of some of the most prestigious international brands such as GE Lighting, Meanwell, Sylvania Lighting, and many others. But according to Erion, it’s not big names that make a company successful—it’s the way you approach every project, every collaboration, and every challenge.

“We’re not just a lighting company. We provide solutions—consulting, technical design, implementation, and maintenance. But above all, we are collaborative. We work in full synergy with architects, engineers, designers, and our clients. Every project is a joint effort.”

Vitalux has now expanded beyond Albania, and this episode also marks the first time the company’s entry into the Swiss market is publicly revealed.

“One of our most special projects is in Switzerland. For us, entering such a market is extremely meaningful—not just because of the high technical standards, but because it proves we’re ready to compete anywhere, with quality and dignity.”

Erion speaks about entrepreneurship with realism and sincerity—not idealism.

“I believe entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone. There are people who are happier working for someone else, and that’s perfectly okay. But if you feel the desire to take ownership of something, if you have energy, passion, and curiosity, then don’t wait for things to be perfect—because that moment will never come. Years will pass, and you’ll realize you never made it happen. What I would tell every young person is: make a simple plan and take the step. Act. If I had to describe entrepreneurship with just one word, it would be ‘ACTION.’ Because without action, every idea remains just that—an idea.”

In this episode of Think Big, Erion not only shares his journey but also offers a clear view of what it means to do business with integrity, passion, and vision.

Vitalux is proof that success doesn’t come only from technical knowledge, but from dedication, respect for partnerships, and love for what you do.

“For me and my team, Vitalux represents the right way to do business. We believe in honest work, lasting quality, and collaboration that builds bridges.”

The second episode of Think Big, now published on the social channels of BusinessMag Albania, is more than just an episode about a lighting company—it’s an invitation to reflect, to be bold, and to take action.

It’s a story illuminated by experience, by passion, and by the belief that success is built step by step—but only if you dare to take the first one.
