Business Angel Summit (BAS) stands as the premier event in our region, bringing together individual investors and VCs from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the broader Western Balkan region. Each year the best startups for me region have the opportunity to participate and pitch for the audience.

Foundation 787 – F787 from Sarajevo, has successfully hosted two editions of the Business Angel Summit thus far. This year, BAS is happening from October 30 till November 1. Through an intensive program, attendees will have the opportunity to explore investment trends and opportunities in the region and Europe, as well as various regulatory frameworks, tools, and active investment groups. Exclusive networking opportunities with potential co-investors will also be plentiful. BAS will gather over 150 investors, along with startups and representatives from relevant ecosystem stakeholders who support the growth of local startups. The Business Angel Summit will also showcase presentations from 10 startups hailing from Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries: Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.

This year BAS will have a specific focus for each day:

October 30 – Startup Day

This day will be reserved for workshops, fine-tuning the selected startups, final tips and tricks for pitching, and networking events.

October 31 – BAS 24

The big day – pitching day! Plus a Halloween party – excellent opportunity to network with investors 🙂

November 1 – BAS 24 Networking Breakfast – last opportunity to meet and network with investors

Terms:

• they are looking for at least 2 startups from every regional country
• Pre seed and Seed
• Launched the product
• 20 startups will be selected, who are going through the 2 phases of their preparations for BAS 24:
• Phase 1 – individual – focus on the segment which should be improved
• Phase 2 – group preparations – focusing on pitching and presentation
• Then, in the beginning of October, we are organizing the semi final, from 20 selected startups, a jury will choose 10 of them who will be coming to Sarajevo for Business Angel Summit 2024.
