What makes EWA 2025 a special opportunity?

EWA (Empowering Women in Agrifood) is an initiative by EIT Food, supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), aiming to promote women entrepreneurs in the agrifood sector. This program is coming to Albania for the second consecutive year, implemented by Balance Center. After proven success across multiple European countries, EWA continues to empower innovative women by supporting sustainable and inclusive business models. For 2026, 130 women from 13 European countries will be selected, including 10 participants from Albania, who will join a 6-month program running from June to November 2026.

Benefits for participants include:

– A personalized 6-month incubation program
– Training in entrepreneurship and business development
– One-on-one mentoring with industry experts
– Networking opportunities with key agrifood stakeholders
– Financial support, including two main prizes: €10,000 and €5,000
