Despite enacting its hashtag#Data hashtag#Protection hashtag#Law in 2008 and amending it in 2014, Albania still faces compliance hurdles as it works towards full alignment with the hashtag#EU’s hashtag#GDPR.

The journey to synchronization with hashtag#GDPR standards began in 2018, with various obstacles, including the hashtag#COVID-19 pandemic, causing delays.

Speakers:

Merseda Aliaj – will talk about the main component of hashtag#GDPR and the changes that are done in the hashtag#Albanian hashtag#Law to comply with it.

Bujar Bakiu – will talk about techniques used to hashtag#anonymize and hashtag#psedonymize data in order to comply with the hashtag#GDPR requirement.
