The 7th CASSINI Hackathon is an initiative supported by the European Commission, taking place in 10 European countries, including Albania, and organized by ICTSlab.

With the theme “Environment and Green Transition,” the Hackathon will be held both online and in-person across 10 European locations. This is an exciting opportunity for students, coders, programmers, entrepreneurs, and environmentally-driven professionals to collaborate and transform their ideas into innovative solutions using EU space technologies.

The Cassini Hackathon will take place from September 13-15 in Tirana.

Participants will have access to various resources and will be offered mentorship from different experts. A prize pool of 3,000 Euros awaits the winning teams, with an additional opportunity for the top team to compete against other Hackathon winners from across Europe.

No prior experience with EU space data is required!

Application Criteria: All Albanian citizens over 18 years old.

Registration is free, and anyone can join; no prior experience is necessary. You will be inspired by local experts in business and space technology. You will learn how to access space data from Copernicus and positioning and navigation services from EGNOS and Galileo. You will connect with skilled individuals, join a team, and develop a pitch to address one of the challenges:
