Representatives from some of the world’s largest brands, including TikTok, OpenAI, Klarna, and ZEOS by Zalando, along with many other global, regional, and domestic companies, will take part in the 7th regional e-commerce conference “E-commerce: Untangling Potential!” to be held on November 12 in Skopje. For the third consecutive year, the event maintains its regional character, attracting participants from more than 10 countries in the region and beyond.
In its largest and most content-rich edition yet, the e-commerce conference will bring together leading national and international experts in the field. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and informal talks, speakers will highlight areas where e-commerce potential has been realized and where there is still room for growth to fully unlock it. Topics will cover delivery and logistics, new opportunities for e-payments, data-driven marketing, the use of artificial intelligence in e-commerce, as well as cross-border and international business growth. Additionally, the conference will be an excellent platform for networking and sharing experiences, supported by an innovative exhibition concept that enhances opportunities for interaction and knowledge exchange.

Celeste Fejzo from OpenAI, the leading research company focused on creating safe and beneficial AI systems, known for their product ChatGPT, which is used daily by millions of people worldwide, is one of the confirmed speakers. She will present how artificial intelligence can revolutionize e-commerce. Celeste, an AI Data Trainer, will share her experiences in developing reliable and effective AI technologies that will shape the future of e-commerce.
Another speaker, Boban Ljubinovski from Klarna, the Swedish fintech company known for its Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) model, a global leader in online payments, will discuss innovative and flexible payment methods for modern e-shoppers. He will elaborate on how these methods increase website visits, average order value, and customer loyalty.
Additionally, Bojan Dolenc from ZEOS by Zalando, an expert in logistics innovations, will speak on optimizing logistics processes, which make Zalando a leader in e-commerce. ZEOS, part of Zalando, is an advanced system for managing warehousing, processing, and order delivery. Bojan, with his seven years of experience, will share how ZEOS improves logistics and reduces costs for major international brands.
As is tradition, the comprehensive program will include the official presentation of data from the 2024 e-commerce analysis report, which for the first time will cover the entire Western Balkans. Discussions will also focus on the use of data, marketing, and AI as support for successful e-commerce businesses. The need for seamless online payment experiences and cross-border internet deliveries will also be addressed, along with experiences from successful regional e-commerce companies that are contributing to untangling the potential offered by e-commerce.
This year, the conference will once again host a regional audience, with around 700 guests expected to attend, including successful entrepreneurs, e-commerce business owners, company directors, and government representatives from Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia, making the event unique and unparalleled in the region in its seventh edition.
