In the fourth edition of Start-Up City, the festival of ideas dedicated to pupils and students, 62 business ideas competed, of which 14 will pass to the final stage.
The finalists will be part of a two-day Bootcamp on May 19-20 and the closing event will be organized on May 27, rewarding the winning idea with a prize of 2,500 euros.

Start-Up City has become a traditional event for the empowerment and application of business ideas by pupils and students, as a joint organization of the Metropolitan University of Tirana, Metropolitan Incubator, and the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana.
In addition to the grand prize of 2,500 euros, prizes are also reserved for the second-best idea which is rewarded with 1000 euros, and the third idea with the provision of mentoring and incubation in the Metropolitan Incubator. Also for the winner of the "Individual Entrepreneur" award, a full scholarship is offered at the Metropolitan University of Tirana. There will also be winners in the "Best Pitch" and "Best Woman Entrepreneur" categories.
This edition takes place under the auspices of the World Business Angels Forum Albania, which opens its doors to a wide range of multilateral opportunities for new Albanian businesses to engage with global markets and foreign investors.
