On November 4th, 2025, Skopje will once again become the center of e-commerce in the Balkans. Organized by the Macedonian E-Commerce Association (MECA), the 8th Regional E-Commerce Conference will be held at the National Opera and Ballet. This event represents the largest and most influential conference of its kind in the region, which for eight consecutive years has been connecting the most relevant stakeholders in the industry.
For the third year in a row, the conference has a regional character. Last year it gathered 742 participants from across the Balkans. This year, even greater attendance is expected, with early interest already evident across the region, over 300 participants have confirmed their presence in advance.
The 8th edition of this conference also brings several novelties. For the first time, the event will take place on two stages: one focused on keynotes, panel discussions, and one-on-one talks, and the other on practical workshops. This year, the conference expands thematically as well: in addition to e-commerce, the focus will also be on marketing and artificial intelligence (AI), which are key to digital transformation and e-commerce growth. This has significantly increased interest among companies and professionals from the region and beyond.
“We expect over 800 participants from the business sector in North Macedonia and the wider region. Speakers from global companies such as TikTok, Booking, Direct Media, and Dolce & Gabbana are already confirmed, and active negotiations are ongoing with other world-renowned brands. The interest from companies in participation, partnerships, and attendance is greater than ever before, which makes us especially happy, as it once again proves that this event is not only recognized as the biggest business event in Macedonia but is also highly sought-after and recognized across the entire region,” said the organizers from the Macedonian E-commerce Association.
The conference will offer inspiring speeches and real-world examples from the global and regional scene, as well as discussions on the future of e-commerce, marketing, and the use of AI in daily business operations. To enhance networking, the mobile app for pre-scheduling one-on-one meetings will once again be available. An expo zone will also be set up to showcase new partner products and services, providing opportunities for direct contact and collaboration with companies, startups, investors, regulators, and institutions.
Registration for the conference is available through the official conference website: https://ecommerceconference.mk. You can add a short sentence about the discount for your network with your dedicated code here.
More details about the agenda and speakers will be announced soon. The conference promises an unforgettable 8th edition that will not only set the course for the development of e-commerce in the region for 2026 and beyond but also inspire with concrete ideas and partnerships that will move the region forward.
