This Newsletter is All About Gratitude!
To you — who’s taking a moment to read these lines: Thank you, your time is valuable and irreplaceable.
To you — who participated in Future2Tech as a visitor, exhibitor, or panelist: Thank you, your presence added value to this initiative, and I truly hope it helped you reach your goals — whether personal, business, or organizational.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you — and let me now share some key highlights that made this 3rd Edition of Future2Tech an event not to be missed.
120+ Exhibitors and 13+ Forums Focused on What Matters Most
It was the perfect moment to talk about the future — today.
We explored the Future of Technology through the lens of industry leaders.
We debated the Future of Education, looking at how well our academic systems are aligned with labor market needs.
The Sustainability Forum made its debut this year — a space for discussions on corporate responsibility, challenges, and best practices.
Moderated by three representatives from the Albanian ESG Network, and with the participation of Deputy Minister Mr. Endrit Yzeiraj, the forum sent a strong message: investing in ESG is a must for a sustainable European future.
Future of Fintech & AI Highlights
Powered by EasyPay, the Future of Fintech panel was followed by Generation Next – The Future of Innovation, and we wrapped up Day 1 with an insightful AI Forum hosted by AmCham Albania.
Key takeaways:
- With Albania entering SEPA on October 7, local fintechs will soon be able to process cheaper, faster payments — a major leap forward.
- Businesses must adapt to AI, especially by investing in continuous training for their staff.
- Companies already bring powerful AI solutions to the table — including AI Agents with exclusive licenses from global players like Microsoft, capable of saving up to 97% of the time on standard operational tasks.
One quote that stuck with me from Shqipe Berisha, at the Education Forum:
“A radical change is needed in our education system. Neither the teacher nor the textbook is the authority of knowledge anymore.”
A Call for Stronger Government Presence
One major takeaway: businesses need greater engagement from public institutions at events like this.
Government representatives should sit at the table, listen, and coordinate efforts — especially as they promote ambitious digital and tech projects.
Several discussions touched on AI policy and leadership, with the new Minister Diella mentioned as a key figure in shaping the future.
Media Zone, Podcasts, and Product Demos
The voice of the business community was loud and clear — not just through panel discussions and booth events, but also through the Media Zone, where over 20 ThinkBig podcasts were recorded and streamed live via Business Magazine Albania’s YouTube channel and LeFutur radio.
In the Demo Zone, more than 20 product and service demos showcased exciting innovations:
- Robots that served popcorn (thanks to startup Patoko)
- Immersive VR experiences
- A buzzing Gaming Zone packed with young tech enthusiasts
Other Key Topics: Cybersecurity, Data Protection, ERP
Partner companies like InfoSoft Systems and InfoSoft Business Solutions led important panels around #CyberSecurity, #DataProtection, and enterprise software (#ERP), offering deep insights into how companies can better prepare for a fast-changing tech landscape.

The Future of Marketing Panel
A new addition this year, The Future of Marketing panel was led by Rafaela Rica (founder of Iceberg Communications), featuring big names like:
- Fisnik Ismaili (Karrota)
- Gerton Bejo (Vatra)
- Vik Kraja (Banda Kreative)
- Ledi Imeraj (Director, Innovation & Excellence Agency)
The marketing world is shifting rapidly — a topic we’ll explore further at AllWeb Digital Conference, on November 6 👉 www.allweb.digital
Startup Ecosystem: Momentum, Funding & Vision
This year, a record number of startups participated, presenting their products and meeting potential investors and collaborators.
Led by Mr. Ravik Mima from Keiretsu Forum, the investor panel explored whether we’ve reached a stage where private investment can replace donor grants as the primary source of startup funding.
It was agreed that we need to redefine the term “startup”, distinguishing it from regular small businesses — and to create distinct investment approaches accordingly.
More incentives and risk-sharing from the government = more private investments.
Collaboration is key.
Tan Mezini Award 2025 – Celebrating Innovation
The cherry on top: the Tan Mezini Award, a tribute to visionary Albanian innovator Tan Mezini, was once again the highlight of the event.
🏆 This year’s winner: Eco Charger
🎟️ Other prizes included tickets to Web Summit Lisbon and AllWeb Digital Conference in Tirana.
Big Things Are About to Happen in Our Small but Lively Country!
Apologies if this update felt long — but this experience was intense, emotional, and worth sharing.
After months of preparation, Future2Tech 2025 became a success story, and we’re only aiming higher for next year.
I love working on projects that start small but grow organically — just like Business Magazine Albania, which started in 2015 to promote the startup ecosystem, and evolved alongside it.
If you’ve read this far — thank you. 🙏
