The Green Business Competition 2025 successfully came to a close! This initiative, launched by Partners Albania in 2012, supports sustainable and innovative ideas that contribute to a greener future. The Green Business Competition aims to stimulate and encourage innovation in green businesses at the local level, while also exploring the role of philanthropy in engaging local communities to generate business ideas based on the use of local resources, revival of production traditions, and development of local markets.
By supporting innovative initiatives that foster sustainable local economic development, the Green Business Competition seeks to make a meaningful contribution to building a prosperous, competitive, and peaceful Western Balkans region.
After the presentation of 17 competing ideas, the expert jury selected the following winners:
▪ Solar Energy – by ALSA Olive Oil, presented by Alvin Gjata;
▪ Green Sound Space – by Capitol Studio, presented by Gerald Taho;
▪ Green Craft – by Artizanale HM, presented by Mikaela Lala;
▪ Pure Recall – Valuing natural beauty, presented by Alketa Muharremi;
▪ Vlora Kayaking – by Reality Escapers Albania, presented by Ornold Bazaj.
Three of the winners will represent Albania in the regional competition Balkan Green Ideas, which will be held in Ohrid.
