Migena Agaraj is one of those inspiring stories that show the power of roots, courage, and big dreams. An Albanian from Fier who today lives and works in the United States, she is a multifaceted figure: a global mediator, business advisor, board member, CEO, producer, author of six books, publisher, international speaker, moderator, and event organizer. Through her work, she has built bridges between entrepreneurs, investors, and the Albanian diaspora, becoming a powerful voice for global collaborations.
Her story begins in Povelcë, Fier (also known as Hoxharë e Re), where her childhood was marked by family work and sacrifice. Her father was a carpenter, a craftsman whose hands embodied the honesty and resilience of past generations. Her mother ran the family’s small café, where young Migena helped out. It was there that she learned her most valuable lessons: sacrifice, love, and wisdom.
Her mother not only showed her the meaning of “hard-earned bread,” but also taught her the first word of business: profit and loss. Her wisdom was simple yet timeless. One of the most precious pieces of advice that Migena still carries with her is: “You have two names. The first is the one given to you by your parents, Migena. The second is the one you build yourself in life. And that is the name you must honor.”
Migena and her brother grew up through their parents’ sacrifices. Their shared experience taught them to value hard work, family love, and the strength to overcome challenges. This dual journey shaped them into strong, dedicated individuals, deeply connected to one another.
In 2003, she moved to New York, beginning a new chapter. She graduated in Economics at Hunter College, with two minors in Italian and History, and mastered five foreign languages. “I like to say: I was born in Albania and refined in New York. This city shaped my dreams and helped me see the world differently,” she says.
Today, her life is a mosaic of meetings, projects, and collaborations. As the founder of Eagles MA LLC, she works closely with investors, entrepreneurs, and startup founders across industries ranging from technology to healthcare and sustainability. At the same time, she founded Legacy Eagles Press, aiming to empower the voices of new authors and create global impact.
Migena is also the author of six books, including Powerful Female Immigrants and Real Women in Real Estate. Through these works, she has united inspiring stories of women from around the world who have built their own success. Additionally, she served as Associate Producer for the first season of the TV show America’s Real Deal.
Another important role she embraces is that of moderator and event organizer. Migena has organized and hosted dozens of events, welcoming hundreds of women and men from the real estate sector, creating a powerful space for collaboration, connection, and inspiration.
For her, leadership is not just a title but a responsibility. “Success begins with humanity. Respect, integrity, empathy, and the ability to see the world through someone else’s perspective are the keys to good leadership. And above all: dream. If your dreams don’t scare you, you’re not dreaming big enough.”
Her connection with Albania remains unbroken. Her message to young people is clear: “Step out of your comfort zone with courage. Don’t wait for the perfect moment, because it doesn’t exist. Honor your roots, but don’t let them limit you. Your voice matters. And always remember: the universe, not the sky, is the limit.”
Legacy Eagles Press is not just a publishing house for emerging voices but a platform that empowers entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, and visionaries across industries. It is a space where collaboration becomes book chapters and where voices become legacy. For Migena, publishing is a way to build bridges between generations and industries, giving voice to every story that deserves to be heard.
She is also the creator of the concept “The Art of Networking: From Limited Connecting to Limitless Connections” — a practical and inspiring journey into the power of authentic relationships. This vision has been transformed into books, programs, and events that guide people on how to turn every contact into an opportunity, every meeting into a bridge, and every collaboration into a legacy.
Migena Agaraj is also co-author of the first three volumes of the international series “Powerful Female Immigrants” — a project that inspires greatness and gives voice to the stories of immigrant women who built their success through courage, perseverance, and vision.
In addition, she is co-creator, founder, and driving force of the unique trilogy “Real Women in Real Estate,” where she brought together more than 65 powerful women from around the world to share their journeys in real estate. This trilogy has become a collective legacy, connecting communities, opening opportunities, and leaving an indelible mark on the real estate industry and beyond.
