The company “Lufra” has donated an IT lab to the students of the Center for Students with Hearing Impairments in Tirana, offering them opportunities to develop their programming skills. During the event organized for the opening of this lab, the campaign “For a Life Full of Good Things” was also presented, dedicated to these children and the company’s mission to support people in need.
Present at the inauguration were Orjola Idrizi, Director of the Center for Students with Hearing Impairments in Tirana, as well as administrators of Lufra, Luis and Franc Ndreka. Director Idrizi expressed her gratitude for such an important and necessary laboratory for the hearing-impaired students, as well as for the attention Lufra is giving to these young people.
“Thank you for being here at a time when we really needed you. The Center for Students with Hearing Impairments has as its mission the education and schooling of hearing-impaired students throughout Albania. It’s a special pleasure when prestigious companies like Lufra are near us, helping us make the talents and dreams of these children a reality. I want to thank you for your awareness campaign, which centers on a child who cannot hear, delivering a very meaningful message to society. Our society needs these strong messages to understand that these children are just like all their peers and have the right to enjoy all rights and live a normal life like everyone else. I also want to thank you for making the technology lab a reality, which is crucial for us, as high school education at the Center for Students with Hearing Impairments is focused on technology and ICT. We have a motto in the center: ‘We don’t hear with our ears, but we hear with our hearts.’ So, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you endlessly for all the opportunities you’ve given us,” said Orjola Idrizi, director of the center.
Meanwhile, the general administrator of Lufra, Luis Ndreka, said he was impressed by the hospitality and talent of the students at the school. “We know that you have many passions and dreams, and these become easier when there’s support. Every person in life needs someone to support them. That’s why we are here today, to assure you that we are by your side, not only to support you but to help you develop and become masters of your own destiny. This is something we believe strongly at Lufra, and it impressed me when I heard this same idea from your school’s director. We believe that the best support is that which helps children and every individual become independent and develop the skills needed to create a better future for themselves. We have always tried to bring goodness through our products while maintaining the highest quality standards, but all along, we have also contributed to those who need support,” said Ndreka. Lufra promises to continue supporting people in need, for “a life full of good things” for everyone!
