“Balance Center" is created with the ambition to promote balanced growth of individuals, groups and communities, public and private sector institutions, and organizations. Our mission is to empower and enable people to make lasting changes for their own lives and for a better Albania.
It equips individuals, communities, businesses, and organizations with tools, knowledge, and connections they need to increase their incomes, and gain access to services – empowering them to make choices and to transform those choices into desired actions and outcomes; to contribute to and benefit from the socio-economic growth development in Albania. Our work focuses on enabling the four factors essential for successful development: participatory development, systemic change, ownership, and contextualized innovative solutions.
“Balance” Center team brings together 44 experienced ambitious change agents, and dynamic trusted professionals with broad expertise in entrepreneurship, innovation, crises management, business improvement, green business and sustainable economic growth, regional and rural development. With great coverage of Albanian territory, experience in project management, and a strong network of public and private partners.
During the last years its experts, in the framework of IDEA project, have been engaged in delivering entrepreneurship training applying CEFE methodology and business plan coaching to women and men- young entrepreneurs. There have been trained more than 3000 new and existing businesses all over Albania, which represent now 1000 running businesses and 1500 additional job created. Since 2021 the team of 26 experts in the framework of the CoSolve19 project is providing coaching to adjust to COVID 19 crises to almost 500 MSMEs.
Balance center is a strategic partner in the start-up ecosystem in Albania, with strong links with central and local government, financial institutions, Universities, national private service providers, the Balkan region and international level, and with international development organizations.
