What was the challenge?
While traveling in remote the southeast part of Albania, the founder picked up a hitchhiking old couple in a village. Their story, of how they were selling the milk and meat for 10% of the market price because of no means to access markets, stayed with him for a long time. He then later found out that only half of businesses and 40% of individuals would finance their needs through the banking system in Albania.
Their mission is to simplify the language, process, and information so that you don’t need a degree in finance to understand banks.
What is the solution?
Since December 2020, Green Leaf does everything to facilitate financial access. They already supported 3000 customers and referred 10 million Euros to Raiffeisen Bank Albania. Numbers keep growing and they keep working to improve the customer journey. They are a team of 15 and growing.
