On March 26, the Innovation Hub at the Pyramid transformed into a center of innovation for the event “Smells Like AI Spirit,” organized by Raiffeisen Bank Albania. With over 500 participants attending both in person and online, the event brought together energy, ideas, and curiosity around artificial intelligence.
Masterclass with International Experts
The first part of the day focused on a masterclass where theory and practice came together, featuring both national and international speakers who explored topics such as:
- Aditi Subbarao (Snowflake AI) – the evolution of banks toward autonomous systems
- João Pedro Martins (Databricks) – Generative AI Engineering and the importance of high-quality data
- Renato Rocha Souza (Raiffeisen Bank International) – specification-driven development and intelligent agents
- Klaus Coka (Raiffeisen Bank Albania) – AI model testing and the use of embeddings

Battle Royale: A Real AI Challenge
In the second part, participants competed in teams to build a model capable of identifying infected plants from images. The challenge highlighted both creativity and technical skills, with the top three teams awarded prizes.
