Future2Tech, the highly anticipated technology, innovation, and education fair, opened its doors on October 9th at the Palace of Congresses. Over 100 technology enterprises showcased their stands, welcoming a wide audience of individuals and businesses alike. Albania is rapidly becoming a significant hub for major tech and innovation events, with a rich calendar offering numerous opportunities for professionals and enthusiasts in the field. The prestigious Future2Tech fair brought together key industry players. Organized by Iceberg Exhibitions and Albaniatech, the fair welcomed over 5000 visitors across its two days.

The Future2Tech fair continued on the second day with a dynamic agenda and important topics addressing technology and innovation. Events and panels held in the fair’s “Events Zone” featured well-known names from the business and education sectors who discussed the impact of AI on business processes, as well as the digitization of audiovisual archives and developments in tourism technology.

Panel on AI: “The Transformative Impact of AI Integration in Business Processes”

A highlight of the day was the panel titled “The Transformative Impact of AI Integration in Business Processes,” moderated by Blendi Salaj, where CEOs of companies and representatives from educational institutions discussed the readiness of the educational and business systems for the AI era. The panel included Mr. Altin Hazizaj from the isigurt platform, Mr. Emanuele Cacciatore from Engineering Group, Mr. Giorgio Bellante from SISAL, and Mr. Igli Hakrama from UMT. The discussions focused on the benefits and challenges of AI integration and whether businesses are fully leveraging its potential.

Digitization of Audiovisual Archives and Technology in Tourism

In collaboration with Atom Computer and PC Store, events on the digitization of audiovisual archives were held, where representatives such as Mr. Armand Agolli, Ms. Klea Koçi, Mr. Erion Mema, and Mr. Roland Koka shared their expertise on new technology and the importance of preserving historical materials. Meanwhile, a forum on tourism and technology focused on B2B opportunities among exhibitors, featuring Mr. Rrahman Kasa.

Hotel Management System by Dev.AL

Another important moment was the presentation of the hotel management system by Dev.AL, moderated by Ilirjana Bitri and Dea Koka. The panel included Mr. Olsi Rraklli and Ms. Siri Lasku, who shared their experiences on hotel management and the benefits this system brings to the tourism industry.

Startup Competition

The second day concluded with the startup competition, where startups presented their ideas to a jury consisting of names such as Ms. Rafaela Rica, Mr. Eduard Shalsi, Mr. Eglent Bici, Mr. Francois Mazdouer, Ms. Brunilda Cuko, and Mr. Grant Van Cleve. The winner of the “Tan Mezini” prize, worth €3000, was the startup suapr.com. Additionally, IACT Studio, represented by Ms. Arjeta Dhima, awarded suapr.com with a prize for public speaking packages. Patoko received a personal prize from Mr. Francois Mazdouer, who chose to award it to one of the startups.

Throughout both days of the fair, Business Magazine Albania was active in the “Media Zone,” where it conducted podcasts with industry leaders, sharing valuable perspectives and insights on technology and innovation. You can find all the interviews HERE.
