Tourism Fair Albania has concluded its fourth edition, confirming its position as the only fair dedicated exclusively to the tourism sector in Albania and an increasingly important annual meeting point for communication and promotion of the country’s and the region’s tourism offer. The fair was organized by Iceberg Exhibitions.
The event brought together 145 exhibitors representing the entire tourism value chain, including hotels and accommodation facilities, travel agencies, tour operators, agritourism businesses, destinations, the HoReCa sector, technology providers, and support services for the industry.
A central component of the event was the B2B program, organized for the fourth consecutive year in cooperation with New Deal Europe. In this framework, 40 international buyers from 18 countries participated, including high-potential markets such as the United States of America, Canada, Japan, and China. In total, 813 B2B meetings were scheduled through the digital platform www.b2balkan.com and held in a dedicated area within the fair.
Over the two days of the event, 17 panel discussions were held, featuring around 70 expert speakers and industry professionals. The panels addressed topics related to year-round tourism development, sector sustainability, interregional cooperation, destination promotion, technology, service standards, and more.
In his speech, Mr. Blendi Gonxhja, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, emphasized the importance of events that bring together public institutions, the private sector, and international partners, describing them as essential instruments for strengthening cooperation and promoting the sustainable development of tourism. According to him, at a time when Albania is consolidating its position as a year-round tourist destination, such initiatives play a key role in promoting the country’s tourism offer, strengthening the national brand, and increasing Albania’s competitiveness in international markets.
The Minister also referred to the continued growth of the sector, noting that Albania welcomed over 12 million foreign visitors in 2025, an indicator that underlines the need for professional platforms that connect domestic supply with international demand.
Tourism Fair Albania took place in a context where Albania is increasing its presence at major international tourism fairs such as FITUR in Madrid and ITB Berlin, using these platforms as tools for promotion and strategic positioning of the destination. In this context, the fair in Tirana continues to record growing interest from international stakeholders, both as B2B buyers and exhibitors.
The fair was officially supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport and the National Tourism Agency. Other supporting partners included GIZ Albania with the SRD program, Tirana International Airport, Elite Travel Group, the Albanian Tourism Union, Lavanderi Bruno, dev.al and Pago, Albanian Night, The Crown, and Mr. Chef.
The event was accompanied by broad media coverage from outlets such as Premium Channel, Business Magazine, Class Explore, Anabel, Albanian Food Magazine, Travel Magazine, and Success Made in Albania.
