In Albania, large quantities of organic waste remain unused. While many European countries have already transformed such waste into profitable resources, Albania is still in the early stages – creating a unique opportunity for local innovators.
The Lab of Tomorrow is an initiative developed by GIZ on behalf of the German Government. Now in its 26th edition, it is coming to Albania through a collaboration between GIZ Albania -supported by the EU and Germany – in partnership with the Austrian Development Agency and the Austrian NGO ICEP.
Lab of Tomorrow is seeking companies and individuals in Albania with innovative ideas for utilizing biodegradable waste. These could include the production of biogas, organic fertilizers, animal feed or other Circular Economy solutions.
