Sometimes, the best ideas are born out of frustration. For Na’ím Anís Paymán, the founder of Zeevou, that frustration came while managing a growing portfolio of serviced apartments and hotels. The inefficiencies of existing property management systems became impossible to ignore. “They were fragmented, time-consuming, and required heavy manual input,” he recalls. “Many platforms failed to integrate bookings, payments, housekeeping, and guest communications effectively.”
Determined to find a better way, Paymán decided to build his own solution — a system that could automate operations from end to end and give hospitality providers the ability to scale without losing control or quality. What started as a personal solution soon grew into something much bigger: a global mission to empower thousands of independent hospitality businesses to regain control over their operations.
At its core, Zeevou is built around one mission — to help hospitality entrepreneurs automate their operations and reduce reliance on third parties. The platform was designed to solve several of the industry’s most persistent challenges: fragmented systems that don’t communicate with each other, dependence on online travel agencies that eat into profitability, and manual coordination that wastes both time and resources. “Our goal was to unify property management, booking automation, payments, and guest communication under one roof,” says Paymán. “We wanted to create something that truly lets hospitality businesses run efficiently and independently.”
Unlike many other property management systems, Zeevou’s innovation lies in its integrated and automation-first approach. It combines property management, customer relationship management, housekeeping, accounting, and reporting into a single, seamless platform. It also empowers hosts to take back ownership of their bookings by building their own brand and reducing commissions paid to large OTAs. “We were among the first to champion the Direct Booking Revolution,” Paymán explains. “It’s about transparency, fairness, and aligning technology with the long-term interests of hosts and operators.”
Zeevou’s guest journey is fully automated — from enquiry to check-out — allowing hospitality professionals to focus on what matters most: creating great guest experiences. By removing unnecessary manual work, it saves operators countless hours while maintaining precision and quality control.
Building a startup in Albania, however, has not been without its challenges. Paymán points out that while the country offers huge potential — with a young, skilled workforce and a growing interest in tech innovation — the ecosystem is still maturing. “Access to venture capital and investors who understand SaaS or hospitality tech is limited,” he notes. “There’s also a smaller pool of developers experienced in scalable enterprise systems.”
Still, the experience has been rewarding. “We’ve managed to build a strong, motivated team here by focusing on purpose and growth,” Paymán says. “It hasn’t been easy, but the collaborative spirit in Albania has been one of our biggest advantages.”
Customer feedback for Zeevou has been overwhelmingly positive. From independent hosts to multi-property operators, many say the platform has transformed how they manage their businesses. They appreciate the transparency, automation, and ongoing evolution based on real-world needs. “Every new feature has come from customer experience,” Paymán adds. “Our users’ feedback has shaped our roadmap from the beginning.”
Looking ahead, Zeevou’s ambitions extend beyond property management. The company is developing Zeevou for Agents, a new module that connects travel agents, corporate bookers, and affiliates directly with accommodation providers. This will create a networked marketplace where verified agents can access real-time inventory and rates — eliminating traditional inefficiencies and high commissions.
Beyond that, the company’s broader vision is to build connected tourism ecosystems powered by Zeevou’s infrastructure. A pilot project already in motion, visiting-albania.com, aims to connect tourists directly with local service providers, from accommodations to experiences and transportation. “We want to show how technology can strengthen local economies and create authentic, connected travel experiences,” says Paymán.
To further empower property owners, Zeevou is introducing a drag-and-drop website builder that enables users to create professional, conversion-optimized booking websites in minutes, fully integrated with the platform’s backend. Alongside that, an AI-powered chatbot is being developed to handle guest inquiries, FAQs, and booking requests automatically — saving operators even more time.
Ultimately, Paymán envisions Zeevou as more than just a software solution. It’s a movement — one that aims to redefine how hospitality businesses operate, grow, and connect within the wider tourism ecosystem. “Our long-term goal is to replicate this model internationally,” he concludes. “We don’t just want to manage hospitality operations — we want to power the infrastructure that makes tourism more efficient, transparent, and fair.”
