On the occasion of the announcement of Tirana's "European Youth Capital" for the year 2022, dozens of activities have been organized by those passionate about culture, art, development, business, student life, and many other fields. Majlinda Bara's project, Futuristic Canvas, an innovation woven with art, is part of the municipality's call to support projects that promote the overall development of the capital.

The Futuristic Canvas project is financed by the National Youth Congress in cooperation with the Municipality of Tirana. Tirana EYC 2022 stimulates young people to become more proactive about the issues that concern them, as well as more inclined to take advantage of existing opportunities. With this aim, the project in question came into existence.

Futuristic Canvas wanted to encourage youth engagement in the development and sustainability of art and culture through digital technology by highlighting the artistic works of 10 young Albanians. The selection of 10 young participating artists was made through a call that was posted on the premises of the Academy of Arts and the official website of the academy.

The selected artists are:

  • Ersa Kana
  • Erolda Cela
  • Albi Yzo
  • Joan Capo
  • Sara Feta
  • Clea Beqiraj
  • Sofika Lleshi
  • Kristi Korri
  • Ron Resuli
  • Egi Pipero

This unique project for the art and cultural values of Albania aims to create a bridge between the artistic potential of the Albanian youth and the technology of the future.
