Denis Zoi, at only 30 years old and in less than three years he has managed to found a company that is expanding at a quick pace.
He studied physics and mathematics, which provided him with strong logical basics. A combination between logic and his passion for technology is what would turn into an unquestionable success. “I have been keen on math since the first grade and later on I developed such a love for physics as well. His ongoing focus on scientific subjects enabled him to take up his University studies on information technology, at which point his passion for technology came into life,” says Denis.
Right after wrapping up his studies near the Polytechnic University in Tirana he started working for an internet service company in Durrës. He soon got promoted to technical director of the company. In search of further challenges, he took a job position in the naval quarters, where he worked for a year. It is precisely there that he came up with the idea of building an IT service business and later on worked on empowering it.
Alongside his partner, Mario Lika, who nowadays holds the CTO position for the company, in October 2017 they founded Techi company. Today they have their own team of specialists and tens of clients.
“Techi offers IT services for all business categories. The main goal of Techi managed services deals with lowering the lack of productivity caused by IT issues”, Denis has to say.
Therefore, there are five main steps the company strictly follows: consulting, design, implementation, documentation, and most importantly 24/7 support (through online chat and email).
Today the company assists over 70 clients in the sectors of: HoReKa, retail, industries, and the service sector in Durrës, Tiranë, Fier, Gjirokastër, Sarandë, and more. The company is more than capable of operating on the IT services in all of Albania and abroad as well.
In 2020, when the pandemic burst, Techi staff came to the aid of the most vulnerable affiliate businesses for free. Many clients were supported with the initiative of working from home through the IT infrastructure. This situation eventually brought new clients, who chose to do business online, using different platforms, video conferencing. etc.
He credits his success to the company’s correct systems. Thanks to the systems, employees are way better organized and the centralized information is easily accessible by the directors.
Techi is also launching an online shopping service, which will come in handy to anyone regarding everyday problems, from the purchase and installation of a program, various computer configurations, and more, in and outside of Albania.
Denis advises young entrepreneurs to build systems so that they can have the data in their hands any time. By having the right information they can make the right decisions. The system can be integrated gradually, to always have a long lifespan.
