In a significant move to bolster women's entrepreneurship in the tech sector, Germin, the renowned Albanian Diaspora-oriented NGO, has extended the application deadline for its "Diaspora in Support of Albanian Women Entrepreneurs” project to December 22, 2023. This initiative marks Germin's first venture into Albania, aiming to create a transformative platform for women and girls in ICT and startups, pairing them with experienced Albanian diaspora professionals for unparalleled mentorship and coaching.

Women-owned startups in ICT often face unique challenges in market entry and development. Germin's project is tailored to dismantle these hurdles, offering resources, support, and networking channels that are often out of reach. Germin seeks dynamic and motivated Albanian women entrepreneurs in ICT ready to elevate their startups. Applications must be sent to [email protected] with the subject line "Diaspora Mentorship for Women Entrepreneurs in Albania" before December 22, 2023. Submissions are welcomed in both English and Albanian.

The project is set to catalyze 20 women-led startups in Albania, connecting them with 10 top-tier Albanian diaspora professionals. This mentoring program is meticulously designed to cover pivotal areas like finance, effective pitching, and strategic networking, ensuring a comprehensive growth trajectory. The initiative builds up on a very successful similar project Germin implemented with women entrepreneurs from Kosova.

Germin is committed to measurable impacts. The project's success will hinge on enhanced business acumen, improved funding access, and fortified global networking for its participants. Regular feedback, coupled with post-project evaluations, will map the journey of these entrepreneurs from potential to achievement.

This project is not just an opportunity; it's a call to break new ground in Albania's tech landscape. All women entrepreneurs in the ICT sector are encouraged to seize this chance for growth, mentorship, and transformative success.

This project is financed by the Small Grants Program of the US Embassy's Commission for Democracy in Tirana.
