The agenda of the MDS features local and international experts, government speakers, business leaders, decision makers, and notable guests such as David Rowan, founding editor-in-Chief of WIRED magazine’s UK edition from 2008 to 2017; author of “Non-bullshit Innovation: Radical ideas from the World’ s Smartest Minds”, to explain the compellingly how emerging technologies will impact business — and how leaders should prepare now.

At the heart of the event lies the central theme of Artificial Intelligence (AI), a subject that garners significant attention and debate within the global ICT community.

The summit aims to shed light on the current landscape across different markets, examining the digital strategies devised and implemented by government institutions and private companies. It will explore and showcase recent achievements in the regulatory and business enabling framework such as recently approved Digitalization and Contactless Business legal packages; the evolution and accomplishments of Moldova Innovation and Technology Park (MITP) that offers best business incentives in the region including a unique flat tax of 7%; the progress of the digitalization roadmap and eGovernance, the ongoing dialogue on interoperability to create a common digital space, as well as the challenges that hinder the widespread adoption of these strategies.

In addition to the engaging plenary sessions, informative discussion panels, insightful workshops, and interactive round tables, the summit will feature a captivating exhibition with the participation of approximately 20 companies from the Republic of Moldova, both local enterprises and those established through foreign investments. At the event the companies will enhance their visibility and demonstrate the functionality of the innovative products and services they have developed.

The first day of the summit will end with the inaugural Moldovan Innovation Awards Gala, that aims to recognize and celebrate the most outstanding innovations from MITP residents, including startups and corporate innovators showcasing their groundbreaking products and services selected by a distinguished international jury.

Moldova’s digital potential extends beyond its borders, as the country actively seeks international collaborations and partnerships. The country’s favorable business environment, including competitive tax incentives and streamlined regulations, has attracted numerous foreign investors and fostered the growth of digital startups and tech companies.
