Huawei4HER initiative concluded the series of trainings in Cyber Security

The series of Cyb4HER trainings realized in cooperation with the Women's Chamber of Commerce has been the last activities that have been realized within the Huawei4HER initiative. These activities were started by Huawei in partnership with Women4Cyber Albania, in order to inform young people and representatives at the management level on cyber risks and the need for information security. The main topic of this initiative was "Cyber Hygiene".

On November 8-12, the #CybHER training series was organized with the participation of four experts in the field and about 55 interested participants each day. During the event, participants were introduced to several important topics such as trends in cyber threats and security in the cyber ecosystem, security and privacy, the importance of personal data protection, and the consequences of cybercrime on national security. At the end of the activity, the participants were provided with certificates of participation and gained the right to attend four international cyber security trainings by Women4Cyber Albania.

Seeing that security against cyber attacks is becoming more and more challenging to manage, the Women's Chamber of Commerce has also joined the Huawei4HER initiative. Present at the event was the executive director of the Women's Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Klodiana Ajazi as well as business representatives at the management level. Mrs. Ajazi stressed the importance of organizing trainings on cyber risks at a time when business processes are becoming more and more automated. While one of the participants said: “This training came at the right time because the employees in the organization I lead must have consolidated knowledge of equipment and network security. I will pass on all the advice I received today to the staff and apply it to the organization."

The activities carried out during the European Cyber Security Month have been numerous in number. Among them, we can mention the trainings conducted at "Çajupi" high-School and "Eqrem Çabej" High-School.
