1. Tell us about the history of your startup. How did the idea come about, and what were the initial steps you took to build this business?

The idea for InsectIntel was born from the need to help farmers combat insect infestations before they become a serious problem. By combining advanced AI technology with real-time monitoring, we aimed to create a system that would help protect crops. The initial steps included developing a simple prototype and testing it on local farms to assess the impact of our technology. Then, we built a small but passionate team to further develop the idea.

2. What have been your biggest achievements so far?

Our startup has achieved several important milestones. One of the biggest achievements has been the development of functional prototypes that use cameras and advanced algorithms to effectively identify insects. Additionally, we were awarded a government grant, which has helped us accelerate the development of our technology. We have also collaborated with farmers and agricultural organizations to test and improve our devices, gaining valuable feedback that has influenced our product’s development. Furthermore, we have presented our vision at international agricultural technology fairs, placing our startup on the global innovation map in this sector.

3. How do you see the development of your startup in the next 3-5 years?

In the next 3-5 years, we aim to expand our technology into international markets, with a particular focus on European countries. We plan to further improve our devices by adding new features based on the analysis of collected data and the needs of farmers. Another priority is forming partnerships with major agricultural companies and research institutions to better integrate our technology into existing farming processes. Ultimately, we envision ourselves as a key player in creating a more sustainable and efficient agricultural system, helping farmers tackle future challenges.

4. How do you assess the support from the government and other institutions for startups in your country?

Government support has been beneficial, especially through grants and innovation-boosting programs. However, there is still room for improvement in simplifying bureaucratic procedures and providing more assistance to innovative startups.

5. Do you have any partnerships or collaborations that have been crucial to your startup’s development?

Yes, our collaboration with local farmers has been essential in testing and improving our prototype.

6. Recently, you were selected as one of the startups receiving a government grant. What projects do you plan to carry out with the help of this grant?

The government grant we received will help us implement several important projects. First, we plan to finalize the development of an advanced model of our device that will be suitable for operating even in harsh environmental conditions. Another project is the implementation of a real-time reporting system for farmers, which they can easily use through a dedicated platform. Additionally, we plan to expand the device’s capacity to identify a broader range of insects and create a rich database that will serve as a valuable information resource for farmers and researchers.

7. What is your vision for the future of your startup, and how would you like your startup to be remembered in the industry you operate in?

Our vision is to create a global system that not only helps farmers protect their crops but also contributes to more sustainable agriculture. We want InsectIntel to be remembered as the company that transformed the way farmers manage invasive insects using smart and eco-friendly technology.
