Another star will take the stage at Skanderbeg Square in Tirana on Thursday, July 20, and it's none other than Ricky Martin himself! He will perform most of his famous songs in front of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in the Albanian capital on Thursday evening.
Tickets are almost sold out, indicating how much Albanian fans have been anticipating this day. Ticket prices range from 28 euros to 174 euros, depending on the location in the venue. The Mayor of Tirana for "nightlife," Rezart Cenaj, declares that this is a great opportunity for Tirana and the Albanian National Orchestra, as they will perform together with the Latin singer.
"According to what we have seen at the recent concert [Enrique Iglesias], there are many tourists from the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden. Ricky Martin will perform together with the Orchestra of Opera and Ballet. It is a very good promotion for our orchestra," said Cenaj. Cenaj also added that there are many other performances by international artists, but they will remain a secret for now.
The singer of "Livin' la vida loca" shared his excitement and emotions on social media, where he shared the news about his upcoming performances and invited all fans to be part of a night full of Latin sounds. Skanderbeg Square is ready to be filled with more than 10,000 people and offer them a memorable night. It has previously hosted performances by renowned Albanian stars known worldwide, such as Dua Lipa and Rita Ora.
Ricky Martin will soon begin his tour and share the stage with artists like Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias, who also performed in Tirana a few weeks ago.
