Albania has its first armored vehicle, produced in our country by an Albanian company. It is named “Shota” and will be presented at the Eurosatory defense and security exhibition in Paris next week.
The vehicle was designed by Albanian Grigor Andoni and brought to life by the company “TIMAK,” led by Arjeta Puca. The women of her company built the first “Made in Albania” armored vehicle in three months, sparking significant interest from foreign countries for other similar vehicles, as well as ambulances, fire trucks, and other products according to needs.
As seen from these images of “Shota,” it has a very distinctive design, with a dynamic front that proudly bears the Albanian name. “TIMAK,” which exports vehicles to 20 countries around the world, announced in a prototype presentation video on Facebook that the name of this vehicle would be “Shota.” “SHOTA, the first Albanian military vehicle, born from the heart of our nation and created by the strength of extraordinary women. Strong, fearless, proud, ‘SHOTA’ embodies the spirit of innovation and empowerment,” the company stated.
