Tirana now holds a new mark on the global innovation map, thanks to the successful completion of the first round of the Plug and Play Albania Accelerator. This program has selected and supported 22 promising startups that are shaping the future in fields such as artificial intelligence, fintech, healthtech, cybersecurity, agritech, and more.
These startups are not just ideas — they are concrete, market-ready products, backed by visionary founders and dedicated teams. From a platform offering online therapy for the Albanian diaspora to an app facilitating transactions across the Balkans, these initiatives reflect the power of local innovation with international impact.
Participating startups and their fields:
- 3i Solutions – Provides software and IT solutions for the banking sector, focusing on BPM processes, KYC, and digital channels. (Fintech)
- Alphatechs (Sphere) – A cyber platform combining dark web intelligence and AI-driven threat protection. (Cybersecurity)
- AxiomBreach – Enables advanced phishing simulations to test organizations’ cyber readiness. (AI & Cybersecurity)
- Baboon atWork – A food ordering platform for businesses, holding over 85% of the market in Albania. (B2B, AI, Logistics)
- Bliss – Online therapy platform for the Albanian diaspora, offering AI-based matching and culturally sensitive therapists. (HealthTech)
- Dataplayer – An analytics platform for health clinics, providing real-time AI-powered reports. (Healthcare SaaS)
- Dialogo – A no-code platform to build AI digital agents integrated with over 100 platforms. (AI & SaaS)
- Doll’App – A second-hand fashion marketplace in the Balkans, promoting sustainable fashion. (Fashion Tech)
- DuaDok – Connects patients with healthcare professionals and offers digital reputation tools for doctors. (HealthTech)
- EU Presence –A tech platform helping businesses scale in the EU with regulatory and operational compliance services. (RegTech & SaaS)
- Growsoft SHPK (Roaadent) – An ERP platform for managing modern dental clinics through process automation. (Dentistry Tech)
- Infinitcode AI – Automates code review for developers using AI, enhancing security and performance. (Developer Tools)
- GE Solution (InsectIntel) – An agritech solution using AI to identify harmful insects and reduce pesticide use. (AgriTech)
- KaKtu – An automated platform for real estate search and management powered by AI. (Real Estate Tech)
- Kidsday – A platform digitizing communication between parents and childcare centers, offering emotional updates, meals, and more. (EdTech)
- NEKOD – Monitors unofficially created applications in regulated sectors like banking to identify risks. (Enterprise SaaS)
- Patoko – A super app for daily service bookings, with over 30-50k daily rides in Tirana. (Fintech)
- POK by Rpay – A digital money and payment management ecosystem in the Balkans, official partner of VISA. (Fintech)
- Synaps – An AI architecture platform that accelerates design and collaboration in real estate. (PropTech)
- T-Blocks – A blockchain and DLT-based marketplace for real estate investment. (Blockchain & Fintech)
- Wolf Technologies – AI that helps companies hire faster by scanning and analyzing tech talents. (HR Tech & AI)
- XY Cyber – Advanced AI cybersecurity solutions that predict and prevent attacks in the Western Balkans. (Cybersecurity)
