The Albanian government will invest 22 million euros to promote innovative enterprises. The Minister for Entrepreneurship, Delina Ibrahimaj, has introduced the national strategy for the years 2024-2030, which includes a series of measures to support new businesses. Every business will be able to offer suggestions to improve the document until the end of April 2024.

At the heart of this strategy is the growth and empowerment of the entrepreneur’s role, through the promotion of innovation, development of local talents, creation of suitable environments for growth and development, as well as support for financing and appropriate policies for entrepreneurship. The Albanian government aims for Albania to be globally recognized as an entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem by 2030, becoming a leader in innovation in Europe and a magnet for investments.

The draft of the National Strategy for the Development of Innovative Entrepreneurship 2024 – 2030, and the action plan for its implementation, which have been made available for public consultation, are formulated as a mid-term policy document spanning 6 years. The goal is for Albanian entrepreneurs to have access to the necessary capital to develop their projects and to be supported by a network of public services and assistance programs that will facilitate their path. The strategy is supported by three main pillars: the Entrepreneurial Innovative Ecosystem; Strategic Sectors (S3); and Inclusive Development.
