Elevator Lab Challenge South-East Europe ended last night (December 15th) with a Gala event where the finalists presented their businesses before an audience and panel of experts and competed for the title of Best South-East European startup and a 10.000€ award. As the winner of this fintech competition, Swinto will have the opportunity to present at the international Elevator Lab Demo Day in the spring of 2022, meet with senior bank managers from organizing Raiffeisen Banks and Raiffeisen Bank International and receive expert advice on presentations and personalizing pitch decks for business clients.
Swinto team, who are also the winners of the second semi-final night in Payments and Advanced Analytics Solutions category, shared their impressions after winning the final:
“We enjoyed the experience, it gave us the wonderful opportunity to rediscover our idea and what we offer. We put a lot of effort into putting together a pitch that was reflective of our company”.
A panel of expert Raiffeisen Bank managers assessed the most innovative fintech solutions, and the semifinal competitions were held in these categories as well:
Easy Albania won the first semifinals on December 1st. Their solution was voted best in the category Innovative Banking Solutions for Retail, SME, and Corporate Clients. Team TE Pema carried the day as the most innovative solution on December 3rd, in the category ESG Solutions. The winning teams each received 5.000€ for being best in their respective categories, as well as the possibility to develop a pilot project with one of the local banks, the opportunity to integrate their innovations with the regional Raiffeisen banks’ systems and reach 2.6 million clients.
Elevator Lab Challenge South-East Europe is a regional startup competition backed by Raiffeisen Group, focused on supporting tech innovation that has a positive impact on the development of finance and banking systems. This year, through online live events, participating teams had the opportunity to present their fintech solutions to experts, and the audience had the chance to participate in the discussion and gain valuable insights in startup solutions.
