Two successful speakers, not only prominent in the Albanian AllWeb scene but also globally, are returning to the AllWeb conference, taking place on November 7 in Tirana. They are Matt Desmier and Ivan Brezak Brkan. For those who haven’t met them before and don’t want to miss this opportunity, here’s what they bring to AllWeb Digital, edition 7.
Matt Desmier
Whether he works for himself or others, Matt Desmier’s focus has always been the same: providing clarity, knowledge, and inspiration to agencies, businesses, and large companies. Currently, he expresses this through his access to the array of talents at Bournemouth University (and there’s plenty of it) to foster economic growth across various industries.
“Need a new marketing position? Want to uncover some insights? Thinking of developing new products and services? Starting a content-driven approach and want to know where to begin… I’m your guy,” Desmier states on his LinkedIn profile.
Think of him as the trusted mentor—someone who knows a lot and connects with many people. The wise mentor who seems older than his years and the person you know, will always have the right answer. Through conversations, interactive actions, and large-scale events, he will help you grow your business, brand, or agency.
While many other smart people discuss topics he doesn’t cover, organize various activities, and assist in developing larger and better events, he:
✦Founded Silicon Beach, one of the UK’s premier festivals for ideas and innovation.
✦Co-founded Open Sauce, a series of events and publications for ambitious, daring, and curious businesses.
✦Previously led a successful incubator, launching 75 businesses over 5 years with a 95% survival rate.
✦In 2018, was listed in DIMA’s 50 Advocates for Equality.
✦In 2016, was named in the Maserati 100 list of social entrepreneurs by the Centre for Entrepreneurs.
✦In 2015, received the title of Digital Champion from the British Interactive Media Association.
✦In 2015, was a Runner-Up for Digital Leaders’ SME Digital Leader of the Year.
He regularly speaks on topics such as branding, innovation, and the future, presenting in the USA, Greece, Australia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kuala Lumpur, and throughout the UK. His areas of expertise include marketing, innovation, and creativity. His unique skills lie in clarity, empathy, and communication. He excels in conversations and knows how to have a good laugh.
