Access to quality mentoring, creating opportunities for the manifestation of potential in business ecosystems and exposure to investors remain three of the biggest challenges for women building startups. The Women Startup Albania 2026 program, developed by the Kallz Center, aims to fill these gaps, through practical expertise. Therefore, the Kallz Center has opened applications for another edition focused on the growth and concretization of women’s entrepreneurial ideas.

Positioned as an intensive development program, Women Startup Albania is not limited to theoretical training. The program offers an integrated approach, combining practical education with personalized mentoring and real opportunities for market exposure.

The call is open to early-stage startups, as well as those that have developed a prototype and are looking to further structure their business model.

Over the course of a month, participants will attend a series of masterclasses, during which they will work on the key elements that determine the success of a startup:  idea validation, market analysis, building a sustainable business plan, and formulating effective marketing strategies. he masterclasses, as well as participation in the final event, with entrepreneurs and representatives of public institutions, will be offered free of charge to startups, as Women Startup Albania has as its main support the EBRD Small Business Advice, funded by the European Union. The program is also supported by Sigma Vienna Insurance Group.

From this process, the 10 most promising startups will be selected, which will enter an advanced mentoring phase. The culmination of the program remains the final event, where these startups will be presented to an audience composed of investors, entrepreneurs and institutional representatives, a critical moment for creating partnerships and securing growth opportunities.

One of the competitive advantages of the program is the fact that participation is offered at no cost to startups, lowering the entry barriers for talents. In the previous four years, the program has included over 170 startups, while a significant portion of them have managed to secure cooperation contracts and enter the market in sectors such as: technology, finance, tourism and services. These results position Women Startup Albania as one of the most effective platforms for the development of female entrepreneurship in the country.

“Women Startup Albania is not just a training program; it is a platform that gives women a business network built over 25 years by our team of experts. Each edition has shown us that the potential exists, what we do is structure it and take it to the next level,” emphasizes Albana Muçaj, founder of the Kallz Center.

The 2026 edition also brings concrete incentives for the winners: the three most successful startups will be supported in the further development of their business, while the main winner will benefit from a business visit to one of the European Union countries, an opportunity to build international connections and explore new markets.

For founders looking to move from idea to structured execution, or from a startup product to a scalable business, this program represents a clear step towards professionalization.
